A 10 yard container typically holds 2 to 3 tons, or 4,000 to 6,000 pounds. 10 yard dumpster rentals are used when removing heavy material like concrete, bricks, and sand. The sides are low for easy loading, but it’s big enough to hold entire driveways and patios, depending on their size.
