Many of the former owners of both companies remain involved as owners of Mountain Waste & Recycling and believe that it was critical to both companies to join forces so that there will always be an economically viable independent company in our valley to compete against the $14 billion dollar national waste corporation that is also present in the area.
We answer our phones locally – not from another state. We spend our money locally, pay our taxes locally, and employ over 60 local people in an effort to provide a safe, responsive, thoughtful team of people dedicated to preserving our way of life in the mountains of Colorado.
The reality of the situation is that our giant competitor can take whichever account they want and there is little that we can do about it.
